THE EDGE

THE EDGE

I stand at the edge wondering should I take a step.

My flesh screams run and hide you don't know what's out there.

But your sprit whispers faith is not in knowing but in stepping out.

So I gather all of my courage together and take a step over the edge.

The chains and shackles that held me in bondage fall away as,

I rise to majestic heights on eagle's wings; and as I soar with you.

I say my God, I've put my trust in you and never again will;

I be afraid to step over the edge.
